Position - District Sales Manager No. of Positions - 2 Location - Baghdad & Najaf Job Summary Managing and developing a team of medical representatives with the goal of achieving sales objectives, driving market penetration and accelerating growth with optimized resources. In parallel, developing key customer relationships, executing operational business plans, discovering new opportunities and contact strategies to ensure clearly defined partnerships with mutually aligned deliverables and best market execution leading to accelerating the growth of business in assigned region. Operational Deliverables: - Leading sales team to achieve sales out and market penetration objectives.
- Fostering ownership and accountability to achieve or exceed individual and company goals and to maximize district effectiveness.
- Ensuring marketing plans and strategies are implemented effectively resulting in achievement of sales forecasts for assigned regions.
- Developing and maintaining strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with distributors.
- Developing and maintaining effective cross-functional working relationships and partnerships.
- Full understanding of all relevant compliance laws, policies and processes. Ensuring actions of self and team are fully compliant.
Team Management & Development : - Effectively coaching, developing, motivating and monitoring team performance including regular and timely feedback through advanced coaching techniques.
- Proactively identifying problems/opportunities and solutions for addressing performance issues in order to maximize representatives’ full potential.
- Ensuring proper execution of performance management process & accurate evaluation of team’s performance and capabilities.
- Screening and recruiting top talent for the assigned territory. Creating an environment of learning and growth for long term success, development and retention of talent.
- Ensuring proper SF deployment & SF KPIs are well met.
Strategic Deliverables: - Business plan & sales strategy formulation to ensure attainment of company sales goals & profitability.
- Initiating & coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Identifying & evaluating growth opportunities to maximize business growth.
- Long term Vision; support in designing customer roadmap to facilitate the medium and long term business growth objectives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 4 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 2 years of experience in people management. Must be Iraqi national Languages: English – full professional proficiencySkills Skills: - Proven track record of achievements & demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales Budget.
