Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Packing Operator to join our production team.
Responsibilities :
- Operate, monitor, and control secondary packing machines used in sterile products (Leak tester, Labeling, Cartoning, and Track and Trace system).
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and site SOPs during all packing operations.
- Perform line clearance, area cleaning, and equipment cleaning as per approved procedures.
- Accurately record batch details, logbooks, and packing documentation.
- Conduct in-process checks (leak test, labeling, printing verification, weight checks) to ensure product quality.
- Report deviations, breakdowns, and abnormalities promptly to the supervisor.
- Assist in troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments under guidance.
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain a clean and controlled environment.
- Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support packing material reconciliation, segregation of rejects, and compliance with waste disposal SOPs
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Science/ Engineering or related field. Technical certification with relevant experience may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (sterile/liquid/BFS lines preferred).
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EU, WHO, SFDA). Understanding of packing processes, line clearance, and documentation practices.
- Basic machine operation and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Teamwork, discipline, and adherence to safety & quality culture.
- Additional Advantage: Experience in sterile pharma/BFS/EDMD lines.
