Summary of the Role 

The Cardiometabolic Portfolio Product Manager will lead the strategic planning, marketing, and lifecycle management of Jamjoom’s cardiometabolic brands in Egypt. The role involves developing and executing annual brand plans, conducting market and competitor analysis, and driving successful product launches. The manager will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, medical, regulatory, and supply teams to ensure brand growth and market share expansion. Additionally, the role requires strong KOL engagement, budget management, and execution of omnichannel marketing initiatives to achieve business and financial objectives.

Strategic Planning & Brand Management 

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy and annual brand plan for the cardiometabolic portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including competitor mapping, market segmentation, and opportunity assessment.
  • Define product positioning and brand differentiation in alignment with Jamjoom’s strategy.
  • Manage product life cycle, ensuring consistent growth and market share expansion.

Launch Excellence

  • Lead pre-launch and launch activities for new products in the cardiometabolic line.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, medical, regulatory, supply chain) to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Develop launch toolkits, promotional materials, and campaign concepts in line with compliance standards.

Marketing Execution

  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns, conferences, digital initiatives, and promotional events.
  • Support the sales team with training, field visits, and communication tools to ensure effective execution of strategies.
  • Manage the marketing budget, monitor ROI, and adjust plans to maximize performance.
  • Partner with digital agencies and medical teams to create impactful omnichannel marketing programs.

Stakeholder & KOL Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, physicians, and medical associations in cardiology, endocrinology, and internal medicine.
  • Monitor and address market feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and product relevance.

Business & Financial Accountability

  • Drive forecasting, pricing strategies, and sales analysis to meet business objectives.
  • Track market performance using IMS data and internal KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Support the tender and institutional business teams with product dossiers and pricing recommendations.

Job Requirements: 

1. Educational & Professional Background:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related life sciences.
  • MBA, Marketing.

2. Industry & Therapeutic Area Experience: 

  • 5–8 years in pharmaceutical marketing, including 2–3 years’ experience in cardiometabolic therapy areas
  • (diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, CV diseases)
  • Previous involvement in launching or relaunching brands in Egypt’s cardiometabolic or chronic disease segments.
  • Proven record in KOL management and cross-functional collaboration (medical, sales, regulatory, supply chain).
  • Deep understanding of Cardiometabolic treatment guidelines (ADA, ESC, EASD, etc.).
  • Awareness of local prescription drivers, market segmentation, and competitor positioning.


3. Marketing & Strategic Skills

  • Strong strategic marketing planning — ability to develop positioning, differentiation, and lifecycle plans.
  • Proficient in market analysis, forecasting, and budget planning.
  • Skilled in digital marketing and omnichannel communication (social media & patient programs).
  • Experience designing promotional campaigns and measuring ROI.
  • Ability to align brand strategy with corporate objectives and sales execution.
