We are now seeking a Senior Executive – Accounts Payable to support excellence in financial operations and ensure efficient management of supplier payments and financial records.
Role Summary
The Senior Executive – Accounts Payable is responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting timely reporting. This role ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards while maintaining strong coordination with internal departments and external vendors. The position reports to the Manager – Accounts Payable and plays a key role in supporting smooth financial operations and timely payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and record business expenses in the accounting system in line with company policies and financial controls
- Verify supplier invoices and process them accurately and in a timely manner with proper approvals and documentation
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger while maintaining financial accuracy
- Perform periodic reconciliations of supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Communicate with internal departments, employees, and external vendors to resolve payment and financial queries
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports to support management decision-making
- Translate financial documents from English to Arabic using SAP to support effective stakeholder communication
- Assist in financial projects and additional tasks assigned by management
- Utilize business software tools such as spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software to prepare financial reports and analyses
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines
- Good understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
