We are now seeking a Senior Executive – OSD Production to drive excellence in oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing operations.
Role Summary
The Senior Executive – OSD Production will lead and supervise OSD manufacturing operations, ensuring strict compliance with cGMP standards, safety protocols, and company policies. This role oversees production planning, workforce management, and machine utilization to achieve business targets while maintaining product quality and timely delivery.
OSD Production Leadership: Supervise OSD operations with strict adherence to cGMP and safety standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Quality and Engineering teams on validation and qualification of new products.
Production Planning: Drive monthly production plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Compliance Oversight: Approve and update SOPs, report deviations, and conduct risk assessments.
Operational Efficiency: Oversee preventive maintenance, machine utilization, and workforce productivity.
Team Development: Provide training, guidance, and leadership to ensure team efficiency and compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in investigations, implement CAPAs, and initiate change controls to secure business continuity.
Workplace Standards: Monitor cleanliness and housekeeping of production areas.
Issue Reporting: Report machinery malfunctions promptly to the Engineering department.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (mandatory).
3–8 years of experience in OSD manufacturing processes.
Strong expertise in OSD processing and packaging.
In-depth knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and validation.
Effective supervision and communication skills.
Ability to train operators and provide clear direction.
Good knowledge of SAP systems.
Flexible, resilient, and capable of handling pressure.
